Scans from Asahi Pentax 6x7 format

Here are two portraits I took yesterday with François camera, Asahi Pentax 6x7 format, and we developped the film in his darkroom. Those pictures are without any post treatment. Just a compression from tif to jpg.

François prepared us the authentic Haïti Punch, with a very great Rhum from there. Trust me, we enjoyed it !

Saint Joseph Observatory

This is a view from the Saint Joseph Observatory. In this place, people were used to do a pilgrimage. They were climbing steps on the knees... and there are lots of steps !

I love this kind of street view...

Harbor

This is a part of the harbor where people are not allowed to go. I've walked until I was blocked by those barriers.

Cemetery doesn't always look sad

In Mont Royal there is a huge cemetery. It's called Notre Dame des Neiges, and it's so great to walk among the dead when it's sunny like it was...

Buildings at night look so huge.. I don't have any tripod so this set of photos was made by putting my camera directly on the floor in the street, cicrled by buildings...

Photographers Meeting

Ok, I was definitly at the right place at the right time ! It couldn't be better for me ! I met five fantastic and cool photographers (Eric, another Eric, François, another François, and John). On the table there were even more cameras than people around it... I was lucky to contact François from couchsurfing, who introduce me to other photographers here in Montreal. I was the youngest (they're all between 30 and 55) and also the one who know the less his camera... I was like a child in a toys shop !

Crossing Jacques Cartier Bridge

Jacques Cartier Bridge.. longer than 2,5km and 100m above St Laurent river, built in 1930. A long walk to go on the other side, where's Longueil. On the middle of the river, Saint-Helen Island.

Montreal by Night

Montreal buildings at night. Nice place to be, but unfortunatly I have no tripod, so it's like I've drunk douzens of beers (have I !?)

Walking in Saint-Helen Island

After a seven hours walk in Montréal with a Belgian and a German I met (Jérôme and Vanja), we went to Saint-Helen Island. Sky was deep blue, sun was raising... nice afternoon.
